Job Description

The role of Senior Project Manager is a crucial position that ensures the timely completion of projects. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and implement project plans, monitor progress, and highlight potential blockers.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as the Senior Project Manager will need to communicate complex project information to various stakeholders and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops operational plans for completing projects
  • Monitors progress and performance against project plans
  • Resolves operational problems and minimizes delays
  • Creates project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Conducts meetings and prepares reports to communicate project status
  • Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A degree in a relevant field such as business administration, computer science, or engineering is required.

Project Management Experience: At least 3 years of experience in project management is necessary for this role.

Excellent Organization and Planning Skills: The ability to implement projects and meet deadlines is critical for this position.

Agile Methodologies: A thorough understanding of agile methodologies, values, practices, and patterns is essential for this role.

Advanced Facilitation, Influencing, and Relationship Management Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position.

Experience in Large, Matrixed Organizations: Previous experience working in large, matrixed organizations is highly desirable.
