Project Management Officer - Battery Solutions

Canadian Solar Inc. is a leading manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules and provider of solar energy and battery storage solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to oversee and coordinate strategic projects related to the development and implementation of energy storage solutions for solar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects related to the development and deployment of battery solutions for solar energy systems, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate activities between internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, keeping everyone informed about project status and changes.
  • Develop and maintain project progress and status reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and feedback to evaluate project performance and implement continuous improvements.
  • Propose and implement improvements to project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on best practices and trends in project management and the solar energy sector.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly archived.
  • Ensure projects comply with industry regulations, standards, and company policies.
Professional Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in project management, preferably within the battery and solar energy sector.
  • Experience managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of battery technologies and solar energy systems.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and planning software.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to coordinate activities at different locations.
