About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Science Manager to lead our US P&C Data Science organization and manage a scope of customers for our Claims Fraud Detection product in the US. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scaling solution deployment and maintenance, supervising a Data Science team of 7+, and hiring, training, and coaching a team of Data Scientists to work on our Fraud Detection models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scale solution deployment and maintenance, supervising a Data Science team of 7+
  • Hire, train, and coach a team of Data Scientists to work on our Fraud Detection models
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their business and organizational context, present results, discuss the performances of our models, and ensure we exceed their expectations
  • Work with other Data Science managers to identify opportunities to scale our processes, better onboard and coach Data Scientists, and serve our customers more efficiently
  • Support our Sales and Value Engineering teams, and present demos of our products to prospects

Requirements

  • Business fluent in Portuguese and English
  • 2+ year experience as Manager or Team Lead of a Data Science / Analytics team, managing at least 7+ direct reports
  • 3+ years as an individual contributor in Data Science, Analytics, or Software Engineering fields
  • Outstanding communication capabilities
  • Strong client-facing skills
  • Team player, as you'll interact with many other teams: Data Science, Product Management, Software Engineering, Project Management, GTM, etc.
