About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine and Offshore Surveyor to join our team in Brazil. As a Senior Marine and Offshore Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting our expanding business in the region, focusing on ship surveys in the North and Northeast areas of Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct marine and offshore surveys for domestic and foreign flag vessels
  • Support existing ship surveys in the region
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to discuss and present deliverables
  • Travel throughout the region and all over Brazil
  • Participate in technical discussions and add value to clients and Lloyd's Register colleagues

Requirements

  • Experience working as a marine and offshore surveyor or equivalent combination of field experience
  • Significant technical competence in existing ship associated statutory requirements
  • Previous authorization to perform ISM, ISPS, and MLC audits
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (verbal and written)
  • Thorough understanding of the local marine and offshore environment
