Food Product Development Leader Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our expert team of specialists in food ingredients.

  • Manage daily project briefs to deliver on customer expectations and timelines.
  • Develop bakery, bars, cereal, and confectionery prototypes using IFF ingredients/flavors and technology.
  • SUPERVISE FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS guiding their daily priorities, tasks, and constructing career development plans.
  • Implement and execute strategic initiatives along with your commercial partners.
  • Manage project pipeline, win rate, prepare project reports, drive sales.

About the Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related disciplines. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in food, ingredient industry.
  • 5 years in bakery, bars, cereal, or confectionery.
  • 5 years in a people leadership role.
  • High level knowledge of recipe, ingredients, raw materials and their function as it relates to bakery, bars, cereal, and confectionery.
  • Good knowledge of ingredients legislation.
  • Product development/formulation of products and sensory testing abilities.
  • Business acumen to drive sales.
