Job Description

The DevOps Engineer plays a key role in driving technical innovation and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software rapidly.

This position is responsible for architecting and maintaining cloud-native platforms, including AWS and Kubernetes environments. The DevOps Engineer works closely with stakeholders, vendor representatives, and IT teams to deliver complex solutions that meet customer requirements for rapid service delivery, reliability, and innovation.

This role involves researching and incorporating new technologies and processes, emphasizing automation, platform evolution, and enabling self-service for developers. The DevOps Engineer collaborates with development teams to onboard new projects, upskilling developers to use platform features such as CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, configuration management, and application monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to innovation in DevOps practices and guide agile delivery approaches and technologies.
  • Develop efficient/repeatable infrastructure through orchestration tools and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Promote and support the adoption of technologies that automate, optimize, and modernize the delivery of platforms and services.
  • Advocate for changes to software engineering and operations with the adoption of new technologies.
  • Deliver technical consulting and subject matter expertise to technological solution projects.
Requirements
  • Strong experience working in complex Cloud Native environments.
  • Strong understanding of software technologies and software patterns.
  • Good leadership skills and ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong experience working with Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Good understanding of IP Networking concepts.
  • Experience working in a PCI Compliant environment or an environment adhering to a compliance framework.
  • Knowledge of containerization/orchestration tools Docker/ECS/K8s, GitOps.
