The primary function of the SAP Basis Administrator is to oversee and manage the technical infrastructure of the SAP system. This entails monitoring system performance, user account administration, data backups, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Review and execute necessary system modifications, solution design, server architecture, and performance analysis
  • Evaluate and implement delivery strategies within defined service level agreements (SLAs) and milestones by adhering to best practices and processes while observing key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous service improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams to understand functional and technical requirements and resolve issues in the system administration area
  • Interact with the SAP HANA application implementation team and the infrastructure team to ensure effective implementation, sustainable support, and optimal performance
  • Execute standard SAP and industry daily/weekly/monthly maintenance procedures for SAP HANA BASIS administration
  • Install, upgrade, and monitor SAP HANA databases/HANA Database Cockpit in scale-up and scale-out environments
  • Configure three-tier HANA System Replication
  • Troubleshoot memory bottlenecks, optimize performance, and manage workload on HANA systems
  • Establish, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for SAP HANA
  • Configure HANA Single Sign-On (SSO)/Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)

This role requires strong technical skills, including experience with SAP HANA, ABAP, and system administration. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
