Immersive Game Experience Specialist

We're seeking highly skilled professionals to design innovative mobile game experiences for Fortnite. As an Immersive Game Experience Specialist, you will adapt features and systems to delight players with fresh experiences.

You'll work closely with cross-discipline teams to create immersive content that expands the Fortnite universe on mobile. This involves:

  • Implementing designs in Blueprint in collaboration with UI/UX, engineers, animators, VFX, sound artists, and others.
  • Working with Production to continuously evaluate the mobile experience and prioritize issues found.
  • Attending design review meetings to provide feedback on mobile design considerations throughout development.
  • Attending playtests, providing feedback, and identifying practical solutions to problems.
  • Elevating best practices for working closely with User Research and incorporating playtest feedback.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience shipping multiple titles as a mobile game designer on Unreal or Unity.
  • Strong interest in Fortnite, BR, and multiplayer games with an understanding of what makes them engaging.
  • Experience designing mobile game content for GaaS models or relevant online games experience.
  • Possess a passion for games with a wide breadth of mobile development knowledge, including controls for mobile and UX/UI.
  • Demonstrated talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations, forms of play, and the effects of goal setting on play.
  • Solution-oriented problem solver who can react quickly to changing project needs and drive decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to fully own the outcome of a cross-disciplined team.
