About the Role

SAP FI/CO Functional Analysts are sought after to perform mapping, conceptual, technical design, and other FI/CO supportive functions for Latin America compliance projects. This role will drive the design based on functional requirements in support of configuration changes to SAP Core, SAP Retail, Webmethods, etc. This will be an onshore resource interacting with onshore and offshore development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experience in SAP FI and CO modules - General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), Payment Processes, Encryption/Decryption
  • Configuration of SAP FI, CO modules based on business requirements
  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, PM, PP, SD, SM, HR, and PS
  • Cooperating with consultants from other modules such as MM, PM, PP, SD, SM, and PS
  • Data Mapping - Mapping the source data element for each data element in the target environment
  • Gap Analysis - Finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes, ability to ask the right questions regarding business requirement gaps
  • Presenting conceptual and technical designs to Global SAP Team for validation, ability to speak to all functional parts and required configuration
  • The resource must have sound knowledge on SAP payment processes and encryption/decryption processes
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects
  • Minimum of 10 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System
  • Heavy preference for experience in eInvoicing or experience in addressing LATAM FICO requirements
  • Experience with indirect tax configuration in SAP (preferably for LATAM region)
  • Experience with WHT Tax configuration in SAP (preferably for LATAM region)
