Data Engineering Specialist
A high-performing data engineer with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust data platforms and pipelines is sought after to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in data engineering roles, specializing in technologies like Big Data (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce), multiple programming languages (YAML, Python), and solutions such as Airflow, Spark, AWS, and Databricks.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a high-performance data platform that meets the company's needs.
  • Develop and edit data pipelines, considering business logic and ensuring efficient data quality.
  • Design and implement data modeling and transformation workflows for clear and accessible data abstractions.
  • Responsible for the entire code development lifecycle, including monitoring deployment, documentation, performance, security, and more.

Requirements:
  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles and experience working on data-centric systems.
  • Proficiency in Python or other main programming languages and a passion for writing clean and maintainable code.
  • Experience with columnar storage solutions and/or data lakehouse concepts.
