Embedded Software Engineer - Sustainable Transport Solutions

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will own complete development of embedded software solutions, especially for vehicle instrument clusters.
  • They will lead the team members in Embedded SW platform development.
  • Taking ownership and delivery on SW platform responsibilities is crucial for success.
  • Performing software troubleshooting is also an essential part of this role.
  • The successful candidate will be an interface between different sites to execute and deliver quality products according to the roadmap.
  • Working in sync with system engineering and different software development teams cross-functionally to better understand requirements for effective development, testing; participating in project meetings, and referencing group and updating the project status is key.
  • Supplier handling - being an interface between suppliers and different cross-functional teams is also required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems or equivalent is necessary.
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in embedded software domain (ideally in automotive industry) is expected.
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical and Electronic architecture is crucial.
  • Experience of working on embedded SW development, and verification is also required.
  • Excellent programming and debugging skills are essential.
  • Knowledge in Model based development and issue resolution is necessary.
  • Knowledge of CAN, LIN, J1939, J1587 and UDS protocol is also required.
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken) is necessary for communication.
