We are seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and restoring floors, operating industrial floor care equipment, and utilizing automated cleaning systems. You will also perform routine maintenance tasks, such as stripping and refinishing floors, and use carpet and upholstery cleaning techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and utilize proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
  • Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment, including automatic sweepers and scrubbers.
  • Utilize automated cleaning systems to clean large areas of floor surface.
  • Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, damp surface extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as stripping and refinishing floors, and using carpet and upholstery cleaning techniques.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is required.
  • Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures is essential.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs. may be required.
