Electromechanical Specialist

As an Electromechanical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of equipment and machinery within our facilities. The role involves inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

You will check and assess the condition of various equipment, including handling gear, pneumatic systems, and electrical installations. Your task will be to restore defects and perform corrective maintenance activities as needed. You will also signal potential flaws to your superior with details on nature and severity, suggesting solutions to avoid future or recurring problems.

In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for ordering spare parts and materials for maintenance and working on planned maintenance activities that are more extensive and complex in nature. This may involve supervising technicians from third-party companies.

Another key aspect of this role is troubleshooting malfunctions and defects in equipment, machinery, measuring and control systems, and other parts of the installation. You will assess the nature and extent of the problem and determine whether immediate repair is necessary or possible. You will also perform emergency repairs, disassemble equipment, and make necessary changes, often in consultation with your supervisor.
