We are seeking a talented technical leader to join our Brazil Payments team. As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enable fast and secure payment experiences for our customers in Brazil.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for owning the roadmap of services that enable faster delivery of payment experiences, documenting and presenting strategies to senior management, and managing departmental resources, hiring, mentoring, and enhancing a best-of-class product development team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement technical strategies to improve payment experiences for our customers in Brazil.
- Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
- Manage project plans and delivery commitments, ensuring timely and high-quality software deliveries.
- Work closely with engineers and product managers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
- Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to leadership.
The Brazil Payments Tech team is responsible for launching payment experiences for retail and digital businesses in Brazil. Our mission is to increase eCommerce Payment Coverage by supporting the launch of new payment methods and supporting regulatory and compliance projects relating to payments for Brazil.
Requirements- 4+ years of engineering team management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
