About the Role
IMI Precision Engineering is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Trainee to join our team in promoting and selling our products and services to existing and new customers in the energy sector.
- Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and requirements.
- Drive an Aftermarket discipline and operating rhythm to cover all the customers every month.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's aftermarket product and services.
- Conduct needs assessments and provide consultative guidance to customers.
- Keep informed of market trends and competitive activity.
- Update Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce, with all required details from the customer visits.
- Responsible for forecasting (monthly, quarterly, yearly, LTF).
About You
We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. You should have a strong customer service orientation, technical knowledge or aptitude to understand and explain complex products, and be able to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Frequent visits to customer sites, including refineries, power plants, petrochemical, and chemicals plants, are expected.
