Job Overview

The Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by analyzing electromechanical and special installations to verify compliance with technical specifications and Mexican legislation norms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Elaboration and control of reports
  • Monitoring the qualification of contractor craftsmen
  • Recommendation of actions for improvement
Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Advanced knowledge in construction and site support activities
  • Capacity for analysis and evaluation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and scope of works
  • Knowledge of methodology to develop construction schedules and cost estimates
  • Contribution to risk analysis and updating project risks matrix
  • Interpretation, application, and implementation of safety standards and best practices
  • Installation of process, electrical, and mechanical equipment
  • Plant inspection of fabrication of piping and equipment, and installation
  • Checkout, pre-commissioning, and commissioning planning and execution
  • Work planning, scheduling, and execution experience
  • Familiarity and understanding of quality requirements
Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Experience working in similar positions
  • Construction experience is mandatory
  • Engineering degree or any construction-related degree is mandatory
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus
