HSE Technician III

Role Overview:

The HSE Technician III will engage in hazard identification and risk assessment, conduct inspections across various work environments, develop technical-operational procedures within the HSE domain, and educate personnel on HSE prevention policies, tools, practices, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to project sites, suppliers, and vessels;
  • Facilitate HSE training sessions;
  • Lead risk analysis workshops (HAZID) for project activities;
  • Perform HSE inspections;
  • Participate in incident investigations, manage statistics, and prepare monthly HSE reports;
  • Develop and monitor HSE action plans;
  • Maintain relationships with field inspectors;
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with IBAMA regulations for vessels and support PEAT and PCP programs;
  • Help manage and control project waste and effluent documentation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in HSE roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry (both onshore and offshore);
  • Experience in projects or assets related to the oil and gas sector, with direct engagement with oil operators;
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems, including the preparation and review of HSE documentation, conducting audits, and performing HAZIDs and risk analyses;
  • Proficiency in operational controls and legal compliance (including NRs and environmental regulations);
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Familiarity with Intelex and Power BI is a plus;
  • Fluency in English.

Additional Information:

Willingness to travel occasionally and board vessels as required.
