About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Analyst to support product development for Foods and Beverages categories in Brazil and LATAM South. The successful candidate will perform physicochemical analysis using advanced instrumentation, develop new analytical methods, and collaborate with global teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform food testing using basic and high-technology instrumentation (e.g., LC/MS/MS, Robot for sample preparation, Gas Chromatography, Infrared Spectrophotometry, and Farinographic Testing).
  • Implement and validate new analytical methods according to PepsiCo Global Standards.
  • Develop specific instrument calibrations for new products.
  • Collaborate with global groups on analytical method harmonization processes.
  • Elaborate laboratory operating procedures.
  • Provide basic maintenance to high-technology instrumentation.
  • Manage laboratory consumables and chemicals inventory.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Food Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese (native), Spanish (basic), and English (conversational/technical).
  • Basic software management skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
