Senior Accounting Professional

The Senior Accounting Professional is responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

This position involves managing a team of accountants, providing guidance on financial reporting, and analyzing data to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in Excel, and have a strong understanding of IFRS and Bacen GAAP.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage the entity-wide Balance Sheet Reconciliation Process (BSRS) and ensure all reconciliations are up-to-date.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance to junior accountants on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of financial information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Proficient in IFRS and Bacen GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in accounting roles.
  • Language proficiency in English and Portuguese.
