Global Supply Chain Coordinator
This role involves leading the development of weekly control reports to demonstrate performance and identify opportunities for improvement. The coordinator will lead purchasing of finished goods from external sources, primarily destined for warehouses in Baltimore, Houston, and Chicago.
The position requires strong organizational skills and discipline to execute activities. It also demands a high level of collaboration with business stakeholders and product management teams to drive reliable supply plans that satisfy USA demand for imported materials.
Key responsibilities include running reports in SAP, executing purchasing of sourced finished goods, converting order proposals into POs, and adjusting/modifying POs as required. Additionally, the coordinator must make follow-ups with sourced plant contacts, track purchase orders, and flag issues that need attention.
The Global Supply Chain Coordinator will also monitor shipments throughout arrival at destination, work with stakeholders to be aware of real arrival times, and coordinate with regional forwarding teams to expedite shipments when needed.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in administration or a related field, advanced English language skills, and experience in SAP, Microsoft Office, and logistical duties. Preferred qualifications include experience in logistics, foreign trade, and purchasing planning.
