Job Overview

Rain is a rapidly growing fintech company that offers earned wage access to its clients. We are seeking a skilled Advanced Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves working closely with engineers and developers to ensure the security of our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks in our cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures, including containerization and Kubernetes.
  • Conduct threat modeling sessions to validate vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation guidance.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for cloud-based applications.
  • Provide real-time support during cybersecurity incidents and work with the incident response team to resolve issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with containerization and Kubernetes, including Docker and Helm.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
