About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for Android devices.

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure that applications meet quality standards and are free of defects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Kotlin and Android development
  • Familiarity with modern Android development, iOS development, and design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVI
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks (e.g. Mockito, Espresso, Robolectric)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with working in a team environment that utilizes Agile methodologies
