The company seeks a seasoned Infrastructure Security Specialist to spearhead the protection of its production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute Operating System upgrades across end-of-life systems in production and cloud environments.
- Develop and implement software dependency management processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement patches for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) across infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team to remediate identified gaps, including Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
- Drive SaaS application integration behind Okta for centralized identity and access management.
- Communicate remediation plans and progress effectively with stakeholders from engineering, product, and business teams.
- 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role with a strong focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
- Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, including patching, configuration management, and upgrade methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
