Job Description

Senior Software Engineer - Remote Contractor Position.

We are seeking experienced engineers based in Brazil or across Latin America to join a US engineering team building and maintaining enterprise software. This role involves owning, maintaining, and evolving an area of our software systems written in Java using classic spring.

The successful candidate will work with other engineers, product managers, designers, and leaders as part of a world-class software engineering team. We value impact over hours, and success in this role is measured by the results you deliver and the impact you create—not by time spent online.

About The Role

This position requires experience building software or web applications with object-oriented or functional programming languages. You should be willing to work on web applications on both the front- and back-end and understand how to build solutions with an agile approach.

  • Own, maintain, and evolve an area of our software systems written in Java using classic spring.
  • Work with other engineers, product managers, designers, and leaders as part of the software engineering team.

Required Skills And Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years experience building software or web applications with object-oriented or functional programming languages.
  • Experience working with Java, Spring, and MySQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
