Bilingual Junior Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to fill the role of Bilingual Junior Accounting Analyst. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements and balance sheets, executing and managing spreadsheets and accounting reports, and recording, classifying, reclassifying, provisioning, and reversing accounting entries for assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the preparation of balance sheets and financial statements.
  2. Execute and manage spreadsheets and accounting reports, performing expense classification and balance sheet analysis.
  3. Record, classify, reclassify, provision, and reverse accounting entries for assigned clients as directed by senior personnel.
  4. Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure the accuracy of information.
  5. Ensure the correct accounting of clients' long-term transactions.
  6. Organize documentation related to the company's accounting practices.
  7. Record accounting transactions for the clients under their responsibility.
  8. Provide assistance with tax calculations.
  9. Reconcile accounts and complete tax payment forms and requests with government agencies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Advanced English language skills;
  2. No prior experience in US accounting is required, but it will be considered a plus;
  3. Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Accounting;
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  5. Accounting experience, especially in financial closing processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience with the Domínio system;
  2. Experience in Accounting Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
