Chief Data Innovator

A leading company is seeking a skilled Senior Data Architect to design and evolve scalable, high-performance data systems in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and beyond.

• Responsibilities:
  • Design robust, scalable architectures for data lakes, warehouses, marts, and operational data stores in cloud environments.
  • Develop and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Pentaho, PL/SQL, and Bash scripting.
  • Architect and implement parallel processing workflows to support high-volume ingestion and transformation of structured and unstructured data.
  • Deliver AI-driven data insights and leverage AI tools to increase engineering project delivery rates.
  • Ensure data quality and governance across the pipeline lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical data architecture solutions.
  • Lead and mentor data engineers and cross-functional teams in best practices for data modeling, pipeline design, and cloud infrastructure optimization.
  Requirements
  • 7+ years in data architecture or senior-level data engineering roles, with strong experience in OCI and enterprise-scale data systems.
  • Deep knowledge of PL/SQL, Bash scripting, parallel data processing, AI/ML modeling, and performance optimization in a cloud environment.
  • Cloud-native thinking and experience designing scalable systems and cloud-first data platforms.
  • Pipeline mastery and skills in building and maintaining modern ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time data flows, and orchestration.
  • Governance & validation and a strong grasp of data quality, metadata management, and governance best practices.
  • Business alignment and ability to understand business and analytics team needs.
  • Team leadership and excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
