**Project Control Engineer Role**
The Project Control Engineer plays a crucial role in the successful execution of projects at SBM Offshore. This position is responsible for leading the implementation and timely completion of specific tasks, including reporting project status, highlighting project execution performance, estimating and forecasting the remainder of the project, and evaluating risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting, progress measurement, performance metrics, and forecast data as required.
- Ensure effective communication across various internal project teams to facilitate the timely exchange of information required to perform assigned tasks.
- Ensure that delegation throughout the team enables quick and well-informed decision-making while maintaining an appropriate level of control.
- Support project managers to remain focused on project objectives.
Requirements
- Degree in Project Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar function.
- Knowledge in various areas such as budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, and risk analysis.
- Experience with project management.
- Experience with brownfield projects is an advantage.
- Certification in PMP or a postgraduate degree in project management is an advantage.
- Advanced English language skills.
