This technical position involves serving as a member of a team providing round-the-clock on-call support for critical SaaS events.
- Manage daily alerts, check systems, and escalate issues as needed.
- Be available in case of emergencies when team members are not available or need help.
- Document issues and remediation steps.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Datadog, AWS Cloud, EKS, Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Linux. Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting is also required.
This role demands excellent oral and written communication skills, customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include proactively creating monitors in the EKS/K8S ecosystem, deploying to EKS/K8s clusters using Terraform and Helm, learning and maintaining existing infrastructure running under Docker Swarm, and improving existing infrastructure health by implementing checks and scripts to correct known issues.
