Lead Software Engineer - Open Source Innovation

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Engineer to lead our regional software engineering team in revolutionizing open source application and infrastructure operations.

This role involves working closely with our managed infrastructure operations team to design, develop, and deliver open source automation capabilities that simplify operations for anyone building on Ubuntu.

  • Design and implement open source software operations code in Python and Golang
  • Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel to applications
  • Develop high-quality open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure
  • Rethink operations for our customers and the open source community

You will work as part of a global team, have a passion for distributed systems and cloud computing, and be interested in the entire Linux stack.
