About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Rare Diseases pipeline and guide medical managers in delivering scientific and strategic activities. As a Medical Affairs Strategist, you will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of local medical plans aligned with Global Medical Affairs, ensuring launch excellence and pre-launch activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Rare Diseases pipeline and guide medical managers in delivering scientific activities across all focus areas.
  • Develop and deliver internal training for marketing, sales, and public affairs teams, providing strategic input on promotional materials and local adjustments.
  • Disseminate scientific messages to healthcare professionals through medical education programs and support proactive medical information exchange.
  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders, develop individual engagement plans, and maintain communication through advisory boards and national associations.
  • Develop and implement affiliate publication plans, establishing local publication planning groups and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures.
  • Provide proactive medical support for new business opportunities, collaborating with business units on strategic objectives and ensuring alignment with medical strategy.

Requirements

  • You hold a medical university degree.
  • You have fluent English (spoken and written).
  • You have experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Rare Diseases being a plus.
  • You have clinical research experience, which will be considered for this position.
  • You have previous experience in managing budgets and ensuring compliance and quality.
