As a Backend Engineer, you'll be working closely with an experienced team to enhance the speed, scalability, and flexibility of our app and APIs. This includes collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop AI-powered features and optimize existing ones.

  • Design and implement real-time messaging systems for high-traffic applications
  • Ensure API responses are swift and efficient
  • Develop AI Agents, RAG pipelines, model fine-tuning, and crawling systems
  • Implement sharding, master-master, and master-slave architectures for scalability
  • Maintain high availability for systems on popular websites and apps
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with a strong background in:

  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • TDD, BDD, or ATDD
  • REST APIs
  • MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, or similar

Experience with Java, C#, Go is a plus, as well as knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming principles. AWS expertise and SQL skills are also desirable.
