Cloud Automation Team Lead

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud-native services and the ability to implement comprehensive cloud automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy end-to-end cloud automation solutions to meet the organization's needs.
  • Identify and adopt industry-leading automation tools and best practices across the organization.
  • Analyze existing cloud processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize them through automation.
  • Support the automation needs of cross-functional teams and provide expertise on cloud infrastructure management.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation to streamline deployment and management of cloud resources.
  • Achieve high levels of automation maturity through monitoring and optimization of cloud services and resources.
  • Lead the development and implementation of cloud-based reporting and analytics to enhance team visibility and decision-making capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment on technology standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in systems engineering, focusing on cloud infrastructure and automation.
  • Expertise in Terraform, IaC, Go, and code reviews.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD for pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash programming languages.
  • Strong AWS knowledge, with Azure experience an asset.

Working Conditions:

The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and collaboration within our enterprise cloud services team.
