Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of strategies to mitigate competition and antitrust risks. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of competition laws and regulations, as well as exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to identify, assess, and manage competition and antitrust risks, ensuring the company remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide specialized legal advice on competition issues, including mergers and acquisitions, business practices, strategic partnerships, and regulatory investigations.
  • Closely monitor and interpret changes in competition laws and regulations, proactively adapting our approach to ensure continued compliance.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including Marketing, Commercial, and Operations departments, to foster legal and ethical business practices throughout the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions on competition laws and antitrust practices for employees and leadership teams, enhancing their understanding and application of these critical concepts.

Requirements

  • A law degree with a specialization in Competition Law, Corporate Law, or related fields is mandatory.
  • Active registration with the Bar Association is required.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in legal positions, focusing on competition and antitrust, is expected.
  • Deep knowledge of competition laws and regulations, including Brazilian and international legislation, is essential.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in corporate environments or large law firms is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
