The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is responsible for the installation, configuration and support of IBM iSeries operating system on Power-8 and Power-10 hardware.
Key Responsibilities:- IBM iSeries Operating System management including installation, maintenance, security, middleware and communications software.
- High availability systems operations, scheduling, automation and support.
- Vulnerability patching of operating system and associated components.
- Storage & File Systems management.
- Hardware Planning, Configuration and Incident Management.
- Performance & Capacity Management.
- System Continuity of Business processes and procedures.
- Review requirement documents and update processes and procedures as necessary.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform impact analysis, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services.
- 7+ years of experience working on large, complex iSeries environments especially in Financial Services industry.
- 5+ years of experience providing level 2/3 engineering support.
- Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
