The Prevention Program Specialist role is a part-time opportunity to facilitate prevention programs/trainings in schools and provide community awareness.
Job Overview:Facilitate prevention programs/trainings in schools for students of all ages, providing curriculum-based education and promoting positive life choices.
Assist with occasional weekend and evening programs as needed.
Work will be available both during the school year and summer.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate prevention programs/trainings in schools
- Provide community awareness and information dissemination at events and health fairs
- Manage deadlines for paperwork and electronic data entry
- Relate well to youth and adults
Candidates should demonstrate excellent judgment, attention to detail, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation and facilitation skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
Applicants must have reliable transportation and the ability to do light lifting to transport files and other materials as necessary.
