Instructional Content Developer

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team at Hollywoodbets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work on the design of various instructional materials, including traditional instructor-led courses, online programs, and web-based learning aids.

This role requires the creation of engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer. You will be responsible for developing materials for courses based on information provided by subject matter experts, department heads, and trainers. Your expertise in instructional design theories, practice, and methods will be essential in creating realistic objectives for learning or performance, redesigning courses for online presentation, and providing exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.

• Create high-quality instructional materials, including courses, guides, and manuals, for various formats such as instructor-led training, online programs, and web-based learning aids.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs and set instructional end goals.
• Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
• Develop assessment instruments and decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance.
• Conduct research and analysis on learners and contexts to inform instructional design decisions.

• Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, theories, and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary of R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus additional benefits.
