What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing our APIs, collaborating with engineers and leaders to achieve solutions for our customers, and leading the development and sustenance of automated test suites.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and leaders to design and develop APIs that meet the needs of our customers.
- Discuss and debate architecture strategies to achieve solutions for our customers.
- Help improve the team's technical productivity, reliability, and simplicity.
- Lead the development and sustenance of automated test suites, diving deep into debugging production issues.
- Nurture engineers on the team, guiding them to scale new heights in their careers.
- Evaluate and deploy essential software tools, processes, and metrics.
- Contribute to Cloudwalk's engineering-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience operating critical infrastructure and partnering with renowned cloud providers.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Some knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem (installments, SPI, SPB, CIP, etc.).
- Proficient in developing software using Golang.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese.
- Advanced English communication skills for internal communication with our diverse, multinational team.
- Fundamental understanding of prompt engineering, showcasing an ability to effectively interact with and utilize AI technologies.
