Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team in Brazil.

This role is critical for strengthening the brand's image, reputation, and communications across the Brazilian market.

The ideal candidate will be a storyteller at heart, with strong media relationships, and the ability to align PR efforts with business goals, corporate priorities, and brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect and enhance the company's reputation in Brazil across key stakeholder audiences.

  • Support the development and execution of PR strategies across corporate and brand PR pillars, ensuring alignment with global narratives and local market realities.

  • Craft compelling press materials including releases, media briefings, Q&As, and statements tailored to corporate and brand topics.

  • Manage the PR agency of record in Brazil, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient KPI delivery across all campaigns.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Legal, Government Relations, ESG, and Customer Service to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Oversee media monitoring, reporting, and measurement processes, including vendor supervision.

  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for journalists, building strong relationships with top-tier outlets and journalists across business, retail, lifestyle, and tech beats.

  • Support the execution of brand campaigns, store openings, influencer activations, and media briefings.

  • Provide strategic counsel during reputation-sensitive moments, crisis management episodes, or major public affairs developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism; MBA or postgraduate studies are a plus.

9+ years of experience in public relations, including agency and in-house roles.

Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with Tier 1 media.

Demonstrated experience managing PR campaigns across corporate and consumer verticals.

Exceptional writing and storytelling skills in both English and Portuguese.

Fluent in English (written and oral); Spanish is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple projects, navigate ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines across time zones.

High level of professional maturity, discretion, and business acumen.

Familiarity with Brazil's media landscape, including e-commerce, retail, fashion, public policy, and digital transformation topics.
