We are seeking a skilled professional to join our data science team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to power data-driven decisions and advancing the data and analytics tools of our organization.

This role requires a talented and experienced individual who is passionate about creating innovative solutions and has a strong background in data analysis and machine learning.

The Data Scientist will design and develop analytics processes and algorithms, source and collect new data sources, work closely with development teams to implement features into production, and collaborate with management to develop a data science roadmap for future investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement predictive models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science capabilities into business operations
Requirements
  • University degree in physics, math, computer science or a related field
  • Professional experience in data science and/or demonstrated competency (projects) utilizing relevant technologies
  • Experience in modelling and predictive analytics with experience working with unstructured data
  • Experience with commercial and open-source analytics tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mind and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience
