We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at Lhr Américas. As a key member of our Distribution Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our hydrocarbon products distribution network within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to department staff on safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective actions to prevent injuries and incidents.
- Ensure that all safety equipment and personal protective gear is properly maintained and used.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in safety and operational roles, preferably in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- Deep knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental, and/or international standards.
