Core Banking Systems Developer

Our team focuses on creating innovative banking services that can be used anywhere in the world. We achieve this through the orchestration of various components and payment providers using Pismo core technology.
As a key player in the Core Banking squad, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable systems that provide banking and payment services. Your work will involve building and evolving orchestration layers to integrate internal and external services seamlessly.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing scalable and resilient systems focused on banking and payment services.
- Building and evolving orchestration layers integrating internal and external services.
- Developing RESTful APIs and reusable components in a microservices-based architecture.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps to deliver impactful solutions.
- Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Working with modern engineering best practices prioritizing security, performance, and scalability.
- Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate).
- At least 6 months of experience working with Go (Golang) in production environments.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java.
- A solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with REST APIs and modern backend development practices.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and continuous integration workflows.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in complex systems.
- A strong focus on testing and software quality.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage in mentoring, continuous learning, and technical improvement initiatives. You will also operate in a highly documented environment with a focus on clear and transparent communication.
OthersSome desirable qualifications for this role include experience working in high-scale and high-availability environments, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Containers, knowledge of messaging systems and event-driven architectures, understanding of observability practices (monitoring, tracing, alerting), background in Agile methodologies and production support, and hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
