Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Automation Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating tasks using Bash and Python, implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab, maintaining version control systems, especially Git, managing infrastructure-as-code with Ansible and Terraform, troubleshooting complex issues efficiently, optimizing systems with a background in system administration or software engineering, ensuring system stability through incident response and preventive measures, and implementing observability tools for proactive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Maintain and improve existing automation scripts and processes.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to infrastructure and application deployment.
  • Optimize system performance and resource utilization.
  • Ensure system security and integrity through regular vulnerability scans and patch management.
  • Implement monitoring and logging tools for real-time system visibility.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) and experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with pipeline management.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaboration platforms.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, as well as incident response and post-incident analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
