Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Process Expert to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The Offshore Process Expert will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of production activity are conducted effectively and efficiently.
  • This position requires exemplary leadership, managerial and safety behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to the production superintendent, offshore production team, and onshore teams for day-to-day operations.
  2. Support process optimization, plant trials, MoCs reporting, and troubleshooting activities ensuring safe, steady, and continuous production.
  3. Develop ad-hoc required technical documentation, e.g., P & ID mark-ups, temporary procedures, technical notes, etc.
  4. Ensure that the production/process capability on the Unit(s) is maintained at the highest practical level, and that any production/process downtime is minimized.
  5. Lead investigator for process incidents level 3; developing detailed 5-whys of all IFS incidents and sharing as part of weekly RCFA meeting.

Requirements:

  • University degree, BSc or MSc in Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • Experience in Upstream/Downstream Process design. Offshore FPSO experience will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management.
  • Detailed Process Design knowledge including use of conventional process design tools.
  • Proficiency in English at a minimum of B2 level according to the CEFR international standard.
  • Medically fit according to Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
