Job Opportunity:

The Technical Lead Fullstack Java, AWS is a leadership position responsible for guiding the technical direction of software development teams.

Key responsibilities include partnering with product owners and engineers to launch new financial products with modern architectural approaches.

You will drive the design and integration approach for deliverables, build consensus among team members, and guide other software engineers on your team.

Responsibilities also include maintaining awareness of firmwide technology strategy, ensuring designs meet systems and modernization strategies, and driving modernization of services and capabilities within your scope.

Collaborate with product owners in aligning the roadmap, accounting for strengths and opportunities within the technical stack.

Monitor performance, uptime, and health of services, identify and remove complex technical impediments that may arise within the team.

Go above and beyond by setting up best practices and leading the way in adopting operational and development practices.

Mentor and coach the technical team on results and timelines, including support with code reviews, domain knowledge, and ownership.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or relevant experience
  • Lead diverse ideas and perspectives to benefit the organization
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Hands-on knowledge of developing applications in Java, Springboot, react, or angular
  • Leading small to mid-sized teams and designing financial services applications
  • Developing java or python applications in AWS development stack
  • Using ECS, containers, Github, Kong / APIGEE, authentication, and authorization enforcement in java services
  • Business concepts, tools, and processes for making sound decisions
  • Strong executive presence and problem-solving skills
