Job Overview

Your primary role involves providing expert-level technical support and guidance for Linux environments, encompassing installation, patching, migrations, and scripting.

  • Lead L2/L3 production and project support for Linux systems, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues across diverse platforms, including Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Linux and Unix systems, with expertise in filesystem management, volume control, and storage optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, clustering, and system hardening principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Linux certification, German language proficiency, and experience with Veritas Cluster, Apache, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
