Job Title: Operations Technology Specialist

Overview: We are seeking an experienced operations technology specialist to support our organization's growth and success.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • OT Inventory Discovery: Develop and implement strategies for identifying, assessing, and documenting operational technology assets across the organization.
  • IT OT Assessment: Conduct comprehensive IT-OT assessments to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in operational technology systems.
  • Network Study: Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of both IT and OT systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Plant Network Solution Design: Develop and implement customized network solutions for plants and facilities, taking into account specific operational requirements and constraints.
  • Impact Analysis: Conduct thorough impact analyses to determine the effects of network changes on operational technology systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Testing: Plan, execute, and verify testing of operational technology systems post-network changes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Security Risk Assessment: Perform regular security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in operational technology systems, recommending mitigating measures as necessary.
  • Technology Deployment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, deploy, and maintain operational technology security solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Operational Technology Expertise: In-depth knowledge of operational technology systems, including industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA systems, historians, DCS, and MES.
  • Security Certifications: Hold relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM, demonstrating expertise in IT-OT security.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical, effective solutions.
