As a key member of the Drilling and Workover department, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

  • Supervise and oversee all operations performed on our wells, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered, leveraging your expertise to optimize drilling operations.
  • Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well, ensuring timely availability and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure that contractors meet all requirements of their contracts, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Drilling and Workover engineers to implement modern drilling practices, driving innovation and improvement in our operations.
  • Approve contractor daily tour reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain rig and equipment to prevent downtime, adhering to strict safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Superintendent, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure that our blowout prevention standards are met in all respects, including equipment configuration, testing, and crew response, prioritizing safety above all else.
