Validation Lead

Job Description:

The Validation Lead is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the highest level of scientific expertise in Technical Operations. This includes providing high-quality manufacturing, packaging, and cleaning validation projects for a broad range of over-the-counter (OTC) products.

This professional will be responsible for monitoring manufacturing, packaging, and cleaning processes to ensure continued maintenance of the validated state. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, pharmacy, or chemical engineering, with at least 6 years of experience in GMP validations.

The Validation Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure seamless transitions through new product development and life cycle management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, planning, implementing, and coordinating major project activities with significant business impacts.
  • Proposing and reviewing program technical directions, benefits, costs, resources needs, schedules, risks, and risk mitigations.
  • Advocating and leading initiatives to drive execution excellence, identifying and recommending new agile ways and risk-based approaches to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure key performance metrics are met.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or correlated areas.
  • At least 6 years of experience with manufacturing, packaging, and/or cleaning GMP validations.
  • Experience with the Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Knowledge of statistics tools, including DOE, process capability, control charts, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to align multi-functional team members on delivering business objectives.
