Senior Product Manager

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled leader to drive the expansion of Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) in Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC). As the APM Vice President, you will be responsible for developing and executing Mastercard's APM strategy in LAC, identifying opportunities to tailor strategies to meet the unique needs of the region.

This role requires strong analytical and systematic thinking skills, with the ability to constructively challenge the status quo and drive continuous innovation. You will need to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and take an action-oriented approach to execution that delivers measurable results.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the expansion of APM solutions in LAC, tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of the region.

• Support the deployment of APM solutions acting as a liaison between local and global teams to ensure timely execution and readiness of key workstreams including product value proposition, go to market, and commercialization strategies.

• Partner with regional market development team to drive engagements with regional players.

• Regional SME to work in partnership with regional Debit/Prepaid team and CSC/local teams to identify opportunities to replicate, customize, and scale disruptive and innovative solutions/models.

• Provide support and propose solutions to complex technical subjects, supporting the implementation and customer-facing teams.

• Champion our Labs and Innovation practices and help identify opportunities for these services to drive incremental revenue.

• Create team-wide presentations, strategy documents, and executive updates to be shared with Sr Management and regional counterparts.

• Take ownership of ad-hoc requests to support local engagements (e.g. branding, CVP, stakeholder narratives / value articulation, etc.).

Requirements:

• Experience in the Payments, Ecommerce, Financial Services and/or Technology sectors – business strategy consulting background highly desirable.

• Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who constructively challenges the status quo and the team to drive continuous innovation.

• Adapt quickly and take an action-oriented approach to execution that delivers measurable results.

• Strong and efficient communication and networking skills across relevant stakeholder groups with the ability to listen and influence to effectively advance people and business opportunities.

• Solid product management experience with a proven ability to drive collaboration, influence, and motivate others to achieve objectives.

• Good understanding of APM regional ecosystem, new payment flows, as well as relevant consumer, industry, and market trends.

• Demonstrated ability to develop product implementation and go-to-market plans-

• Business acumen and thought leadership that delivers solutions-oriented results to customers and consumers.

• Strong communications skills; ability to package clear communication for senior stakeholders.

• Learning agility, ability to work in a high-paced environment, and excellent time management skills are crucial for success in this role.

• Fluency in English AND Spanish or Portuguese.
