About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Data Center Sourcing team at Amazon. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement operations for our data centers, including supplier management, inventory management, and procurement transaction support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide procurement operations support for the data center, including supplier management (goods and services), inventory management, and procurement transaction and expediting support.
  • Manage the supplier onboarding and qualification process.
  • Lead end-to-end PO issuance process, working with internal stakeholders to align on delivery timeline, funding, and approvals.
  • Oversee on-time delivery of awarded material to corresponding site locations.
  • Serve as escalation point of contact when material is delayed, working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality.
  • Manage KPIs to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes, including creation of recurring metrics reports to drive improvements.
  • Align with internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets and develop methods of measuring and defining savings, value, and other category metrics.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams and suppliers to develop innovative solutions to provide procurement support to the Operations network.
  • Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement on behalf of Amazon.
  • Partner with AP, Suppliers, and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms
  • Supplier/vendor relationship management experience
  • English knowledge in an intermediate level
